SUPPORTIVE EXERCISE AND MEDITATION

What will we learn in this module?

In this module, we will focus on additional supportive activities - meditation and exercise. We believe that a holistic approach (physically, mentally and energetically) is the key to achieving optimal health and well-being.

Exercise is an important activity in a detoxification programme as it directly supports the natural detoxifying processes in the body. Movement stimulates blood circulation and the lymphatic system, which play a key role in transporting nutrients and removing waste and toxins from the body. In addition, exercise promotes sweating, which allows the body to remove toxins through the skin.

In addition to these physical benefits, exercise also brings important mental and emotional benefits. It reduces stress, improves mood and promotes better digestion and regular bowel movements, which are key to a complete detoxification. This is why physical activity is an integral part of an effective detoxification programme.

Meditation plays an important role in the holistic detoxification process of the body, as detoxification is not only about the physical body, but also includes the emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of our being.

Physically, meditation helps to regulate the body's stress response, which can reduce inflammation and support the body's natural detoxification processes. Chronic stress can lead to a build-up of toxins in the body, as our bodies are too focused on producing stress hormones such as cortisol to detoxify effectively. By regulating cortisol levels, meditation allows the body to return to an optimal state for effective detoxification.

On an emotional and mental level, meditation serves as a tool for calming the mind, letting go of dysfunctional patterns... This process of mental detoxification can help to reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being. On a spiritual level, meditation promotes a deeper connection with the self, which can encourage better self-care and healthier life choices.

Exercise and meditation are key to a holistic approach to detoxification and health maintenance, taking us on a journey of freshness, vitality and inner balance.
